I am leading the MAPPING (MetAbolic PhenotyPe, nutrItioN and modelinG) research group within the Plateforme d’Exploration du Métabolisme, focused on studying the characteristics of the first metabolic deviations associated with the development of non-communicable diseases (metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, pre-frailty/frailty), using systems biology integrative approaches: modeling, simulation, combining multi-scale experimental data (omics and other).

Research interests

  • Knowledge on the mechanisms by which nutrition, macro- and micronutrients contribute to the development or prevention of chronic metabolic diseases using metabolomic approaches, thanks to multidimensional approaches to build models and reveal the determinants and modulators of these changes: identification of early metabolic deviations, and identification of status and/or predictive biomarkers for better metabolic phenotyping.
  • Development of new tools of the high throughput approaches for research on metabolism and nutrition to identify biomarkers of exposure and effects and a better stratification of at-risk populations.
